Edelman is looking for a talented Social Content Creator/ Copywriter to join its Content Lab. The Edelman Content Lab ideates and develops high engagement social and digital content, grounded in journalism and creativity, designed to drive action and make impact.

Who Are You? 

You have 1-2 years' experience concepting, creating and writing content across social and digital media. You’re deeply familiar with social strategy, social platforms, and have experience creating end-to-end content for both Instagram Reels/ TikTok. You know how to judge content performance and have a keen understanding of content formats and trends. You must grasp the nuance of writing for corporate and regulated industries. You love to find creative ways to tell stories, make an impact, move fast and have fun while doing it. You often direct by doing, you show more than tell.

Responsibilities

  • Ideating content across platforms, and writing social copy across formats.
  • Presenting ideas internally and externally as needed.
  • Creating, overseeing, and in some cases appearing on camera in end-to-end content.
  • Creating content calendars in association with account and digital teams.


Basic Qualifications

  • 1-2 years concepting and writing social assets.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating client-facing decks, social posts, and ad copy. Proficiency in writing caption copy and LinkedIn posts and must have some links to prove it.
  • Writing, ideating, and scripting for all social platforms, with a firm understanding of social media trends, formats, video, graphics and the specific tone of social copy across all popular platforms.
  • Experience working with clients and helping to frame ideas externally and internally in a way that will provide clarity and velocity to the work.
  • Love for finding inspiration on social for creative concepts.
  • Familiarity with using social data to inform iteration and experimentation.
  • Experienced in planning and organization, and all project management and creative tools needed.


Added Advantages

  • Experience in the healthcare or pharma space.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of content production and experience making end-to-end content for social platforms.
  • Experience working with or have a working knowledge of Canva. In addition to writing briefs for art and design partners to find creative ways to communicate often complex concepts in an engaging way.
  • Familiarity with post-production and motion graphics, and what can be creatively achieved using these.


$48,000 - $67,000 a year

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
