This position is responsible for working collaboratively with the continuing education department team to provide administrative support and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the continuing education programs.
Customer Support
Responds to general questions regarding continuing education as outlined in the Guide to Maintaining Your Certification
Responds to inquiries specific to the policies governing the continuing education program
Prepares and coordinates materials for mailings
Provides written and verbal certification verifications
Corresponds with ABC's Continuing Education Sponsors
Database and Website Processing
Responsible for data entry, maintenance and integrity of continuing education records
Processes applications for continuing education and applies appropriate credits
Tracks and issues continuing education credits
Assists with the preparation and distribution of renewal documents
Maintains balance between ongoing projects and short-term needs: prioritizes tasks, monitors deadlines and communicates regularly with program director.
As necessary, assists other ABC programs.
Works on special projects as assigned by the Director of Continuing Education
Bachelor's degree plus two to three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability, and commitment to, providing an extremely high level of customer service
Strong initiative required
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
Demonstrated database management and maintenance skills
Experience with NetFORUM a plus
