THREE MONTH CONTRACT
Our client is currently going through an Audit and need some additional assistance on the internal side of things. They are projecting the Audit to be done by the middle of September but could take longer. Will work about 40 hours a week.
Overview:
This role will support our Corporate Contracts Team and may be performed 100% remote or, if preferred, in an onsite hybrid setup from their HQ location in Arlington, VA. The Contracts Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to subcontracts and procurement administrators, compliance staff, and contracts managers in the following areas: Procurement actions and purchase orders
Purchase requisitions for materials and equipment
Vendor communications (e.g., requesting financial information and due diligence documentation)
Cost or price analysis
Market research
Organization and maintenance of electronic files
Data entry (e.g., compiling and entering information into databases or software programs)
Other general administrative support, as needed.
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree
1-2 years of work experience, preferably in the area of contracts
Working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR and other government agency acquisition supplements
Great interpersonal skills and can work well with others
Ability to exercise good business judgment and demonstrate a professional attitude
Strong verbal and written skills
Ability to prioritize multiple contractual activities and meet deadlines
