The continuing growth of the company has increased the amount customer contracting we are doing and led to the creation of a Contract Administrator position, which will be a full time, remote work, temporary position. The Contract Administrator is responsible for the successful administration of all incoming legal requests, responding to legal correspondence, updating the contract repository, and supporting Innovu’s privacy and employee benefits compliance initiatives. The Contract Administrator position will be a valuable member of the Innovu Legal team, must possess real attention to detail and be able to successfully coordinate with external legal counsel, Innovu’s project managers and other Innovu employees of various levels to support the review, analysis, and timely completion of all legal requests.
Responsibilities
Review the legal provisions of customer and carrier contracts under the direction of VP of Finance and provide red lined changes, analysis or other feedback on contracts
Document contracting strategy on specific customers and create referenceable legal documentation
Administer Zoho Desk or other software platforms to manage the tracking of legal requests, publish contract review status information, coordinate the efforts of external legal counsel and various Innovu team members across multiple departments
Pursue timely execution of completed documents and timely digital storage of all contracts
Review and track global non-disclosure agreement provisions regarding data access rights and cohort restrictions
Audit contract repository to improve ability to track and access archived contracts on an ongoing basis
Review legal invoices and provide monthly contracting performance metrics
Support the operations of the employee benefits compliance committee and privacy initiatives by maintaining correspondence, updating documentation, and tracking deadlines
Monitor upcoming renewals and deadlines for contract and compliance efforts
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
High level of computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and DocuSign. Experience with ContractSafe software a plus
Strong sense of customer service and personal accountability for addressing internal customer needs in a responsive fashion
Familiarity with contractual language, agreement types, legal standards, and terminology
Demonstrated aptitude for understanding contracting issues across various types of agreements
Self-motivated and proactive; comfortable working independently under general direction.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
