Contract Closeout Specialist

We are looking for a Contract Closeout Specialist:

• Provide administrative contract closeout services to complete contracts IAW the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Agency regulations and policies.
• Organize expired and active contract files, to include electronic/digital files
• Maintain the organization of paper or digital files, including the review of digital files
• Develop a process for specialists to deliver/sign-in expired/inactive contract files for close-out
• Develop written procedures to close out inactive contract files
• Develop and meet performance metrics for closing out inactive contracts and a means to track progress.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4 years of contract closeout experience
• Contracts/Acquisition experience
• Working knowledge of federal procurement regulations and policies
• Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
• Excellent writing skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
