We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven Contract Recruiter who will partner with company management to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the business and deliver best in talent. The Contract Recruiter will ensure success through development of national and international recruiting plans, best in class sourcing strategies and resources, and on-going candidate engagement and nurturing.
Responsibilities
Working with HR Recruitment team to develop and implement best in class initiatives for recruiting A+ talent
Ensure 3-5 high quality candidates readily available for any open position, meeting established HR metrics (cost to hire, time to fill, quality of hire, retention, etc.)
Implement employee branding and marketing strategies to pursue talent and attract passive candidates.
Cast a large recruiting net. Create and maintain active database of vetted and talented potential candidates. Nurture relationships with potential candidates.
Optimize and ensure ease of application process through various tools, and customizes for individual needs as required
Develop and foster strong relationships with appropriate Universities, Colleges and Community Colleges
Identify and attend industry trade shows, professional organizations, job fairs, and other events where networking with potential candidates can occur.
Understand and actively connect with APEX competitors’ employees.
Actively manage daily relationships on LinkedIn.
Perform prescreening of candidates
Apply job-related criteria to pre-screen internal and external applicants; collaborate with hiring manager in determining qualified candidates; document decisions in keeping with APEX’ commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity
Perform applicant tracking and on-boarding system tasks for exempt positions and new hires
Conduct preliminary phone screens on qualified candidates
Coordinate scheduling of on-site interviews, including:
Schedule interviews
Coordinate candidate travel as required; greet candidates upon arrival and ensure interview schedule is followed
Schedule and coordinate candidate debrief sessions
