Contract Specialist


Venesco LLC is looking for a Contract Administrator to manage a portfolio of Federal Government contracts and subcontracts from award issuance to closeout.

Responsibilities:


  • Administer Federal Government contracts and subcontracts from award issuance to closeout
  • Responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contractual language in contracts and subcontracts
  • Monitoring Task Orders under IDIQ’s
  • Submit deliverables to include GFE, Manpower, CPSMR, T&M etc)
  • Assist with preparation of Schedules required for DCAA Incurred Cost Submission
  • Experience working with a vast array of contract types including: T&M, FFP, FFP/LOE, IDIQ, BPA, GWAC
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly GSA reports
  • Prepare, examine, negotiate, execute, and revise various types of Agreements (i.e., Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Letters of Intent, Partnership Agreements)
  • Ensure subcontracts are in compliance with legal requirements and government regulations
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions
  • Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional business team members and coordinate with all departments involved
  • Assist the proposal team with the review of Request for Proposal/Quote Terms and Conditions, Representations and Certifications, and Teaming Agreements
  • Analyze and process contract modifications; monitor contractor performance; and manage report status of contractor deliverables
  • Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing requirements and budgets
  • Maintain audit files per contract including original contract, modifications, and payment schedules
  • Track correspondence, authorizations, payments and deadlines


Requirements:

  • Experience with managing federal contracts and subcontracts
  • Experience with Deltek software-Contracts Module
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations (i.e., FAR, DFAR, CAS)
  • Fluent in use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Sharepoint
