The Contracts Specialist coordinates contract, liability, and business insurance processes in support of effective and efficient Company operations. This role coordinates and tracks routine and complex documents through legal review and consultation; documents and tracks contract expiration dates, terms and conditions, and renewals; and coordinates the renewal of labor rate schedules per contract terms and conditions. This position generates, organizes, and maintains files of correspondence, documents, records, and other matters while maintaining information security. This position coordinates the business insurance program for the Company, including claims, and provides administrative support as needed.
Essential Job Functions
Review, coordinate, and track contracts, subcontracts, and liability claims.
Prepare contracts and subcontracts.
Advise management and staff on contract and liability issues.
Coordinate and communicate with staff and clients regarding contract and liability issues.
Coordinate business insurance programs.
Education And Experience
Education: AA/AS in business, legal or related field
Registration: None
Certification: None
Experience: 3 years contract compliance and review experience. Education beyond minimum requirement may be considered in lieu of work experience. MS Office, enterprise database experience
Other: Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve complex problems, attend to finest details, organize large amount of information, and communicate effectively
