Purpose of Role: Installing, maintain, and troubleshoot, automation and control systems. Provide technical support for electrical issues related to these systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Schematic Analysis: Interpreting and understanding electrical schematics to identify and analyze system components and connections.
  • Control System Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and rectifying issues with motor starter controls, power circuits, and safety circuits to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • PLC Programming and Optimization: Programming, troubleshooting, and enhancing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic to streamline automation processes and improve efficiency.
  • Sensor Systems Calibration and Design: Calibrating and designing systems for various sensors including level sensors, temperature controllers, pressure transmitters, and speed sensors to maintain accurate measurements and control.
  • Maintenance Support and Training: Maintenance personnel by troubleshooting control-related issues, conducting repairs, and delivering training sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge base.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Related field desired, but will consider equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Industrial Controls is required. This experience should encompass working with control systems in a manufacturing or related environment.
  • Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLCs) experience is required.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC is required.
