About The Position
We like to do things big at Power Design – and our events are no exception! We’re looking for a seasoned Events Experience Manager to lead our team of passionate planners as they conceptualize and execute multiple high-energy celebrations for our #PDIFamily each year.
From Vegas-style casino bashes and high-stakes employee competitions to family-friendly festivals, this role will guide their team in creating captivating experiences and lasting memories through unforgettable employee events. With a keen focus on brand cohesion, customer service, and creative thinking, the ideal candidate drives results and supports key business objectives through strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills.

Position Responsibilities
- Develop and implement event strategies that align with corporate goals and branding.
- Identify event objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure event success.
- Create detailed event proposals, including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budgets.
- Lead team in coordination of all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, transportation, and accommodation.
- Oversee event set-up, execution, and tear-down, ensuring all elements run smoothly and on schedule.
- Manage event registration, guest lists, and attendee communications.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and speakers to secure the best possible terms and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, sponsors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety regulations.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all events are delivered within financial constraints.
- Monitor and report on event expenses and reconcile final invoices with vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate event planning and management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events from conception to completion.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and excellence.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
- The role may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays to support event schedules.
- Some physical activity may be required for event setup and breakdown.
