  • Estimated annual base pay: $101,300 - $126,600 (midpoint) - $151,900

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Corporate Health and Safety Manager we have an exciting opportunity for you. This role is located in Fort Collins, Colorado at our headquarters. The Corporate Health and Safety Manager is responsible for assisting the VP of EHS on the development and deployment of the annual health and safety plan. This role assists the VP of EHS with global incident reporting, investigation, trend analysis and strategic intervention initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and standards as promulgated by all local, state and federal agencies through development and implementation of on-site inspection and monitoring programs/processes.
  • Establishes and implements short and long range functional goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates program effectiveness; effects changes necessary for improvement.
  • Consults, advises and works collaboratively with site leadership regarding EHS issues, problems, programs, processes and systems.
  • Keeps current on changing environmental, health (industrial hygiene) and safety laws and regulations (federal, state, local) and advises leadership on their impact (or potential) to the business operations.
  • Partner with respective Plant EHS Managers to coordinate Corporate level initiatives focused on the “elimination of life-threatening injuries” for both employees and contracted services personnel.
  • Promote hazard recognition and risk assessment techniques capable of identifying latent conditions and precursors to human error that can lead to active individual or systemic organizational failures in the Company’s safety system and provide recommendations on layers of control.
  • Promotes effective communication programs to enhance and encourage member awareness of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Manages the Gensuite EHS data reporting system for the Corporation. Work with IT to develop a system to improve EHS data sharing.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor of Science in Safety Sciences, Occupational Safety and Health or similar field from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years minimum experience in industrial safety or similar occupational health and safety experience required
  • Master’s Degree in Safety Sciences preferred
  • Certified Safety Professional preferred
  • Human and Organizational Performance experience preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Safety leadership in a multi-plant, regional or business unit role.
  • International experience preferred
