Job Summary
The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for managing a portfolio of business units and industry verticals in the AEC industry. This opportunity is a full life cycle recruiting position where you will serve as a strategic business partner to our hiring managers to identify the best candidates for our team.
In This Role, You Will
Work with hiring managers and leadership on staffing planning
Draft and post role descriptions
Manage applicant flow in our applicant tracking system
Screen applicants and determine the “short list” of candidates to present to hiring managers
Research strategic sourcing techniques for harder to fill roles
Identify and recruit high performing passive candidates
Work with hiring managers through the interview process offering coaching on interview techniques when needed
Negotiate offers with candidates and hiring managers
Attend recruiting events including job fairs and college recruiting
Work with candidates through the pre-hire process and ensure easy handoff upon start and onboarding
Work on open roles throughout North America with an opportunity to expand globally as we grow
You Will Be a Great Fit If
You have a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management/Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
You have 4+ years working in Talent Acquisition.
You have experience working in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry (specifically MEP), required.
You have experience creating and executing sourcing strategies to target top candidates
You have expertise working with applicant tracking systems, strategic sourcing techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, and various job boards
You have experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and practices
You have experience with behavioral assessments and situational interview techniques
You have experience participating in college and professional recruitment events
You have knowledge of EEO and OFCCP practices and procedures, understanding of relevant Federal and State laws
You desire to create a best-in-class candidate experience
Skills/abilities
Ability to travel if required, no more than 10%. Ability to work some evenings and weekends when needed during tight deadlines
Ability to self-direct and work independently in a remote environment
Ability to navigate competing priorities and provide exceptional service and results to our leadership
