The Job
The Corporate Strategy Analyst will support the strategic objectives of the organization by researching, identifying, evaluating and prioritizing opportunities for organizational growth and transformation. The role is responsible for a variety of analysis-driven projects to support the SCAN enterprise, and a multitude of internal business units as an internal consultant. This position will balance the needs of delivering actionable, supportable findings in line with deadlines and changing requirements. Some projects will utilize external data, some will leverage internal data. A primary focus of the role will be to develop market research that drives data-driven decision-making.
You Will
The Corporate Strategy Analyst will research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine strategic opportunities and inform decision making. Synthesize, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data to accurately summarize conditions into usable and reliable formats.
Support the delivery of Investment Review Committee, including assessing and summarizing investment requests in support of Senior Leadership to inform investment decisions in conjunction with Finance.
Develop a competitive analysis of the Medicare landscape and SCAN’s evolving competitor set through publicly available documents.
Assist with the preparation of pro forma projections for expansion opportunities. Coordinate modeling with Finance to assess growth opportunities and develop insight.
Support design, development, and execution of annual strategic planning process.
Develop strategic plans and executive level summary documents for use with Board and other internal and external stakeholders.
Manage multiple (department) projects by effectively prioritizing work and communicating workload issues to management.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.
Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative disciplines such as Economics or Engineering, preferred.
- 2 years of previous consulting experience preferred.
- 2 years of project management experience preferred.
- 2 years of healthcare strategy, operations, or administration preferred.
- Advanced MS Office skills required. Advanced Internet search and retrieval skills required.
- Demonstrates attention to detail and high accuracy in work product.
- Excellent written and communications skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex and competing priorities.
- Base Pay Range: $92,400.00 to $147,800.00 annually
- Work Mode: Mostly Onsite (In the Long Beach, CA office 2 times a week on Tuesday and Wednesday)
