The Role:

DailyPay is seeking a Credit Associate who will be responsible for ensuring the credit quality of the assets originated by the business meet the required underwriting standards. These efforts support the business’s asset backed financing strategy in furthering DailyPay’s growth.

The Credit Associate will work closely with the Sales team to ensure that appropriate due diligence requests are satisfied, partner on client stakeholder calls to communicate due diligence requirements and credit decisions and use their expertise in credit risk analysis to prepare and present credit reviews. Additionally, this person will partner with the members of the Capital Markets team to assist in cross functional projects to further DailyPay’s Capital Markets efforts.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Perform initial and periodic credit reviews through credit and financial statement analysis to determine the level of risk according to established guidelines
  • Advance and innovate risk management techniques through streamlining internal processes and iterating on firm policies to promote efficiency and automation
  • Assist Sales Teams with collecting appropriate due diligence information in the Sales cycle to support credit underwriting efforts
  • Perform due diligence on new clients by working with Sales and the client contacts (CFO, Controller, etc)
  • Support the Revenue Organization in understanding the credit process and market environment
  • Support the Capital Markets team on various cross functional projects that support DailyPay’s funding goals and improve the Company’s thought leadership in the on-demand pay and capital markets space
  • Maintain databases and analyze all market intelligence
  • Prepare various Capital Markets and Credit reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 2+ years of commercial credit underwriting experience in a bank, investment fund, credit fund or rating agency
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts, financial statement analysis, and credit risk assessment
  • Ability to lead due diligence calls with existing and prospective clients
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
