Position Summary
Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital - CT Tech urgently needed for our small community hospital. Joining Orlando Health as a wholly owned hospital in 2020, the conveniently located Orlando Health Saint Cloud Hospital is an 84-bed full-service medical and surgical facility serving the residents of St. Cloud and the surrounding Osceola County communities for more than 55 years. The hospital offers numerous specialties, including diagnostic imaging, cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment, orthopedics and surgical services. Recognized as a Primary Stroke Center, a 24-hour Emergency Department treats children and adults, including a designated geriatric section for specialized emergency care. Responsibilities
Position Summary
Provides quality patient care when performing diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation
and/or intervention while adhering to radiation safety principles.
Essential Functions
Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
Adheres to Orlando Health mission statements and strategic imperatives.
Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.
Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results
Qualifications
Education/Training
Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Licensure/Certification
Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida and
Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or
Valid Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in (CT)
Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
