Position Overview

As a Seasonal Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive outstanding service and support during our peak season. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle various customer inquiries will contribute to maintaining our reputation as a premier sports merchandise retailer.

This is a part-time seasonal position, and the employment term will run from July/August to the conclusion of the football season. The position requires availability to work some weekends and adaptability to a flexible work schedule during the busy season.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
• Assist customers with product information, order placement, tracking, returns, and exchanges.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a calm and courteous manner, aiming for first-contact resolution whenever possible.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of customer information and order details into the system.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as shipping and inventory, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely resolution of customer issues.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers and provide accurate information.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate suggestions to the management team.
• Adhere to work schedules, being consistently punctual and maintain reliable attendance.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team performance goals.
• All other tasks as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.
• Flexibility to work weekends and accommodate a varied work schedule as required during peak periods.
• Passion for sports and knowledge of football, particularly the Las Vegas Raiders, is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of customer interactions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be flexible regarding work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  
  

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

• Frequent walking, standing for long periods of time, sitting and stair climbing
• Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
