The Role
Vizcom is hiring our first Data and Analytics Manager! As our first dedicated data hire, you’ll play a crucial role in setting the foundations for our data culture and will play a major part in improving our user experience and business performance.
How You’ll Do It
Base salary for this role begins at $145K. Final compensation is determined based on multiple factors, including experience, location, and other business considerations. This role is eligible for equity.
The Role
Vizcom is hiring our first Data and Analytics Manager! As our first dedicated data hire, you’ll play a crucial role in setting the foundations for our data culture and will play a major part in improving our user experience and business performance.
How You’ll Do It
- Create and iterate on processes that help us become a more data-driven organization
- Collaborate with teams across the business to define and measure goals
- Conduct ad hoc and exploratory analyses to derive insights from our product and business data
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and actionable reports
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs and provide visibility into our business performance
- Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize our product features and user experience
- Lay the groundwork for building and scaling a high-performing data team in the near future
- 5+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
- Experience with tools from across the data stack and a high-level understanding of data engineering best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience working remotely and/or in a startup environment
