Design Co-Op

We are currently searching for a Design Co-op for our Caledonia, MI location. As a Design Co-op you can expect to learn the skills, processes, equipment and tools of the corrugated industry from our team of Design professionals.

What You Need To Be Successful At Opus Packaging

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently pursuing a 2-year degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
• Work safely and attend all safety training.
  
  

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

• Excellent computer knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with identified time frames.
• Team player.
• Quick learner and efficient.
• High sense of urgency.
• Able to work well under pressure.
  
  

During a Normal Workday You Can Expect To

• Prepare customer samples.
• Rebuild Standards
• Design prototypes using ArtiosCAD software.
• Learn the Kongsberg sample cutting table. Other projects as assigned.
