Purpose of Role: ESCO is seeking innovative engineers to join our new product development group. We need engineers who will use their creativity to develop our next generation solutions to support ESCO strategies. ESCO uses many world class engineering tools and software to develop products. The ideal candidate will have a knack for learning and leveraging these tools to develop high quality products quickly in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding & uncovering customer needs
  • Generating innovative ideas & product solutions
  • Planning and running experiments that result in product improvements
  • Developing products that meet customer and manufacturing requirements

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 3 plus years Design Engineer experience preferred
  • CAD modeling proficiency (NX preferred) as well as experience with Analysis tools: FEA, LS-DYNA
  • Effective communication, problem solving, project management and organizational skills
  • New Product or Technology Development, Steel fabrication and casting design experience and/or Mining or Construction industry experience preferred
