The Position:


We are seeking a talented and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in overseeing procurement activities such as creation of purchase orders, order tracking, order fulfilment, and misc. invoicing/purchasing responsibilities to ensure the smooth delivery of our designs in accordance with the expectations of our clients.


Responsibilities:


· Obtain quotes from vendors for materials, products, and services required for projects.

· Place orders with vendors and manage the procurement process from start to finish.

· Manage deliveries and coordinate logistics to ensure timely receipt of materials and products.

· Anticipate the needs of the project and client in collaboration with the design team.

· Effectively manage relationships with vendors and proactively resolve any issues that may arise.

· Schedule deliveries and installations, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors as necessary.

· Conduct research on materials, products, and vendors to enhance project offerings and stay updated on industry trends.

· Schedule and conduct vendor meetings, attending onsite meetings as needed.

· Generate and issue invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

· Process payments to vendors and manage accounts payable.

· Reach out to new vendors to expand our network and source innovative products.

Requirements:

· Experience in project management, procurement, and purchasing, preferably in the interior design or related industry.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in procurement and financial related tasks.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Canva.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.

· Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and accounting principles.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Must have a car and valid driver’s license.
