CarOffer, a CarGurus company, is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. This person will be responsible for maintaining the IT-related infrastructure. We are looking for a professional that can work in a fast-paced environment, solving issues with efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
Provide first-line technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup of their IT systems and tools.
Disable and remove user accounts, email accounts, access permissions, and other system privileges for departing employees.
Help train employees on its use of new hardware and software.
Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field experience preferred.
2-5 years of experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to fill multiple roles.
Proven record of maintaining IT structural integrity.
