Digital Communications Specialist, DFC - Remote

About The Position

We are seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to join our team in supporting the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). As a critical player in the realm of global development, DFC mobilizes private capital to foster economic and social progress in emerging market economies. This role will be stationed within the Office of External Affairs (OEA).

The OEA serves as the primary interface between DFC and the public. Our mission is to elevate DFC's profile, ensuring transparency in our operations, and fulfilling our commitments to key stakeholders, including the United States Congress.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on all digital communication initiatives, focusing on website content management, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) enhancement, email marketing, and social media engagement.

Drive updates and enhancements to DFC's public-facing website, ensuring it remains current, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.

Manage DFC's website media library, including uploading and posting various materials such as Public Information Summaries and digital reports.

Craft engaging content for DFC's social media platforms, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

Analyze the performance of digital communication channels and utilize insights to refine future strategies.

Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, from content creation to campaign analysis.

Coordinate with internal teams to create compelling digital and printed marketing materials.

Collaborate with OEA's editorial and visual communications teams to produce multimedia content for various platforms.

Capture photos and videos for use in professional external communications materials.

Oversee projects to ensure timely and error-free execution.

Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in media relations, preferably in communications or journalism.

Proficiency in website development and management.

Strong writing skills with keen attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
