About the Role: Trusted Staffe is currently seeking a Director of Behavioral Health Nursing on behalf of our partner, a leading regional medical center in Lawton, OK. This position will oversee the strategic and operational leadership of the Behavioral Health department, ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Behavioral Health Nursing department.
Collaborate with department directors and C-suite executives to optimize patient care operations.
Ensure compliance with survey processes (Joint Commission, CMS, Client, etc.) in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
Oversee staffing, budgeting, and resource management for the Behavioral Health unit.
Foster a culture of patient-centered care and continuous improvement within the department.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
Registered Nurse License for the State of Oklahoma (either single state or multistate).
3-5 years of experience as a Behavioral Health Director or Manager in a healthcare setting.
Expertise with survey processes in an inpatient psychiatric setting (Joint Commission, CMS, Client, etc.).
Strong leadership skills with experience collaborating with multiple department directors and C-suite executives.
MAB certification required within 30 days of hire.
