What We Need

The 2K Global Services Technology team is looking for a dynamic and seasoned technical leader to run our Engineering Services department. In this role, you will help build the future of the team by contributing to overall strategic vision, driving the tactical execution, and developing a culture of engineering excellence for your team. Our aim is to provide our partners with the best possible service possible

What You’ll Do

  • Provide the strategic direction, tactical execution and leadership to the Engineering Services team, driving towards technical excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Supervise hiring, performance management, and career development initiatives within the team
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with our partner studios, acting as a trusted advisor capable of providing guidance and technical expertise
  • Be the technical liaison in SOW / RFP development, internal and external presentations, and resourcing negotiations
  • With technical leads, design and implement best-in-class processes in quality control, development, and risk management
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators used to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Evangelize 2K values and champion a culture of high-performance and innovation

What Will Make You A Great Fit

  • 10+ years of experience in multiplatform AAA game development
  • Must have shipped multiple titles in an Engineering Lead, Technical Director, or above
  • Experience building and managing multi-discipline technical teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills, that can be applied to a partner-first, service oriented approach
  • Bonus if shipped one or more titles using Unreal Engine

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $183,800 and $272,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive 14 paid holidays per calendar year, are eligible to earn a minimum of 15 days of vacation leave per year (subject to proration based on start date during the calendar year) and will receive 10 sick days per calendar year. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
