Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP of FP&A and Revenue Operations, the Director of FP&A plays a key role in driving business and financial excellence for the organization. The Director drives monthly, quarterly, and on-going forecasting, reporting, and analysis of the business at the corporate, business unit, and program level. In addition, the Director is a lead contributor in our annual and on-going budgeting and planning processes, analysis, and reporting.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Manage, coach, and develop a small team of FP&A team members
  • Drive annual budgeting and planning processes
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc forecasts, reporting, and analysis for the business and individual stakeholders
  • Prepare presentations for our Executive Leadership Team, Board, and other key business stakeholders in collaboration with the VP of FP&A and our CFO
  • Create complex and comprehensive financial models for the business, new product development, and overall business plans
  • Lead key budget and spend meetings including with executives and business leaders
  • Support THMA’s Sales & Marketing team with FP&A insights and advice
  • Partner with People & Culture team on staffing and labor budget processes
  • Provide sound, data-driven business advice to stakeholders with a focus on enabling growth and maximizing value
  • Assess, recommend, and implement systems, processes, and strategies to optimize FP&A function at THMA
  • Develop policy, procedures, and processes in FP&A

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • 6+ years of relevant working experience
  • Working knowledge of budget & planning, executive reporting, and analysis
  • Expert skills including using complex formulas, power query, and other means to prep and analyze large data sets from multiple sources
  • Financial modeling and business case analysis

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, and distance vision, and the ability to work with screens or monitors for prolonged periods of time. This position is primarily a sedentary job where the team member will be seated for the majority of the day.

Compensation:

Starting salary of $125,000 per year and up plus benefits.
