YOUR IMPACT
The Manager of Franchise Sales (External) is responsible for identifying development opportunities, presenting development territories, and selling to qualified new brand partners (franchisees). This individual must demonstrate the following competencies: relationship building, networking, sales expertise, strategic thinking, and strong analytical skills.
What You’ll Do
HUMBLE: You are business-savvy with 7-10 years in the Franchising industry. You are naturally curious and obsessed with professional development and self-improvement. Energetic and focused, you thrive working in teams or flying solo. You have an undergraduate degree in Business or another related field. Possessing an MBA is a huge plus!
HUNGRY: Quick on your feet, you have a passion to get things done in a timely manner. Managing multiple projects and timelines is something that you thrive on.
SMART: You demonstrate strong verbal and communication skills, patient as you deal with demanding situations and exhibit solid decision-making abilities. You have a strong existing network of multi-unit, sophisticated restaurant franchise groups throughout the U.S.
SERVICE-MINDED: You operate with a collaborative leadership style, easily building trusting relationships with others. You remain calm in tricky situations and are quick to remove potential barriers.
ENTREPRENEURIAL: You have leadership experience in corporate and field settings and franchise sales. You are a champion at driving change in an organization. You have no problem attracting high caliber, diverse team players and excel grooming them for future leadership roles.

YOUR IMPACT
The Manager of Franchise Sales (External) is responsible for identifying development opportunities, presenting development territories, and selling to qualified new brand partners (franchisees). What You’ll Do
- Align with internal Wingstop team on development areas applicable for new brand partners in support of U.S. Master Development Plan
- Identify and asses potential brand partner prospects based on Wingstop requirements including alignment to Wingstop culture, financial requirements, knowledge of desired market and operational plans – utilizing your rolodex of connections made throughout your career.
- Responsible for the execution of Market Plans through new brand partner growth in support of Wingstop’s overall U.S. Development Master Plan
- Meet with potential brand partners to influence and sell aligned upon development agreements
- Attend applicable Franchise and Trade Shows in specific support of advancing the U.S. Development Master Plan
- Identify development opportunities within both new and existing markets for new brand partners by leveraging applicable tools to drive development pipeline in support of U.S. Development Master Plan
- Partner and work collaboratively with Operations, Real Estate, Market Analytics teams, and more to align on potential Development Agreements
- Craft development territories and aligning on an appropriate development timeline
- Educate prospects on Wingstop systems and FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document), and facilitate Discovery Day as an onboarding step for potential brand partners
- Other duties as assigned

- Regular use of a computer and other technology is essential to the successful completion of your everyday roles & responsibilities.
- Frequent use of mental energy while expressing or exchanging ideas and information with other departments, franchisees, and Wingstop team.
- Regular use of physical energy while traveling to meet with brand partner prospects and/or attending franchise conferences.
- Anticipate roughly 50-75% travel meeting with brand partner prospects and WRI real estate/franchise operations team in the support of drafting development agreements
- Effective communication and attention to detail around analysis and all parts of the DA process while maintaining quality and a sense of urgency.
