Director, IT Applications Product and Supply Chain Technology

TheDirector IT Applications – Product and Supply Chain Technologyis aresult driven leader with strong communications skills both verbal and written. They have the ability and experience to assist executive leadership with strategic planning, Influence the prioritization of projects and the management skills to personally handle complex, cross-functional projects. This job requires an individual with the ability to align people, processes and technology and have experience as a strategic trusted advisor. This role is an integral part of the IT and Supply Chain teams and reports directly to the Vice President of Product and Supply Chain Technology.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with VPs & Delivery Managers within the Product Development & Supply Chain Technologies area, to identify project initiatives that align with the organization's long-term goals and objectives and assist with building our 2-3 year “Project Roadmaps”.
• Assist with conducting in-depth analysis of market business solutions, understand the competitive landscape of the competitive products, and internal capabilities of the company to assist with “new” product/project decisions,
• Oversee Product Development & Supply Chain Technologies portfolio, work closely with department heads, delivery managers and team leaders across the organization to ensure that initiatives are integrated seamlessly into existing operations.
• Lead and oversee key initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring they are executed effectively and on schedule,
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives,
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and coordination among teams and departments, assist in finding ways to close gaps between business and technology,
• Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and organizational buy-in for initiative-related changes.
  
  

What You'll Bring to the Table

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• Minimum 8+ years’ experience in with Supply Chain Technology and Strategic Planning,
• Ability to communicate with technical, functional, and business users,
• An understanding of the full software-development lifecycle,
• Certifications in Project Management, Strategic Planning Business Analytics, all a plus,
• Clear understanding of multiple project delivery methodologies, e.g. – Agile vs Waterfall,
• Knowledge in project delivery and tracking tools, e.g. - Jira
• A proven track record of delivering projects on-time, on-budget with the highest quality standards,
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills,
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
