The BlueBridge Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Development and Grants Management to lead our fundraising and grant-seeking efforts. In this role, you will be in command of developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, managing grant applications, cultivating donor relationships, and overseeing all aspects of our development program.  Additionally, as a senior member of the team, you'll be asked to share your perspectives and collaborate in other areas across the organization to contribute in making us stronger.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure diverse funding streams, including grants, major gifts, individual contributions, and corporate sponsorships.
  • Research, identify, and cultivate relationships with prospective donors and grantors.
  • Lead the grant writing process, ensuring proposals are compelling, meet foundation and government guidelines, and align with our strategic goals.
  • Manage existing grants, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and fostering positive relationships with grantors.
  • Oversee donor relations, including stewardship activities and donor communications.
  • Analyze fundraising data and track progress towards established goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership and program staff and law enforcement partners to identify funding needs and cultivate opportunities.
  • Represent BlueBridge at professional events and networking functions (occasional travel <10%).  .
  • Build a team of development professionals as we grow.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in non-profit development and fundraising, with a proven track record of success in securing funding.
  • Extensive experience in grant writing and grant management, with a strong understanding of foundation and government grant application processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and cultivate relationships with donors.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite and donor database management software. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $75,000-$95,000

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health/vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
