Director of Functional Fitness

The Godspeed Director of Functional Fitness sets the standard in Adult Health and Performance by leading a Godspeed campus in restoring function and optimizing performance. The Director of Functional Fitness sets the high standard of performance and opportunity achieved through leadership built on its own standard of excellence. The Director of Functional Fitness sets a standard of leadership with the five pillars of Godspeed Leadership:

1. Confident
2. Competent
3. Authoritative
4. Humble
5. Vulnerable

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Coach - (4) classes daily
2. Program - Plan, Design, Educate and Implement Adult Functional Fitness yearly programming
3. Member/Staff Management - Functional Fitness Program and Staff budget, programming, scheduling, and education
4. Market - Market Functional Fitness Program through Social Media, Website Blogs, and In house Workshops
5. Sell - Lead Adult Functional Fitness Sales through lead acquisition and closing

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree
• CPR / AED / First Aid – Certified
• Communication Skills
• Awareness and Information Retention Ability
• Passion to Serve and Grow others

Preferred (but not mandatory):

• Strength & Conditioning experience of 2+ years
• Crossfit / Weightlifting Experience of 2+ years
• NSCA – CSCS – Certified
• Crossfit Level 1 and/or 2 - Certified
• ON Base University / EXOS / CFSC – Certification
• College or High School – Scholar Athlete experience (played sports)

Hours (In Person): 

• Full time

Benefits:

• Salary – $65,000+ (based on years experience, certifications, population(s))
• Health Insurance - 50 % Health (Blue Cross Blue Sheild) / Dental / Vision/ GAP (secondary)

• Paid / Sick / Personal / Company Holiday Paid Time Off - 18 days
• Simple IRA – 3% of Salary once opted in (matching begins after 12 months employment)
• Continuing Education - $1000 yearly (may allow more based on quality of continuing education requested)

Bonus Structure

• Monthly Member Retention Bonus
• Monthly New Member Bonus

Future Growth and Development:

• Equity Partner of Godspeed Hoover location over three year period through merit based achievement (Hitting Key Performance Indicators of Member and Staff Retention).
