Huron Gastro, P.C. is an adult medical gastroenterology practice specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders that affect the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), rectum, liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas. The practice includes 22 physicians board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, 8 Advanced Practice Providers, and an outstanding staff of clinical and administrative personnel.

This position will be responsible for the oversight of Huron Gastro's two Ambulatory Surgery Centers, in Ypsilanti and Livonia.

Qualifications:
Current Michigan RN License
Bachelor's degree in nursing, or higher preferred
Ambulatory leadership experience preferred
BLS and ACLS Certification required
Strong knowledge and understanding of healthcare management
Ability to simultaneously address multiple projects, demands and issues
Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal, and telephone communication in American English
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee the overall operation of two sites to ensure that continuous, quality, accurate, timely, and cost-effective services are provided
Collaborate with physicians and leadership across the organization to ensure a high-quality patient experience
Implement, communicate, and monitor Huron Gastro board-approved policies, procedures, and standards as well as accrediting guidelines
Monitors/maintains compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and the Center's policies for patient services, and environmental and personnel safety
Develops, implements, and evaluates on-going service programs which assure quality nursing and patient care programs consistent with the Center's mission
Accurately identifies real/potential problems affecting the service and implements solutions with follow-through and communication
Responsible for the ongoing development of staff and unit-specific care programs
Attends all required Safety training programs and can describe responsibilities related to general safety, departmental/service safety, specific job-related hazards
Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a team to facilitate the team's ability to meet its goals and objectives
