Exciting Opportunity: Director of Operations - South / Southeast based

CORY is hiring a (remote) Director of Operations who is passionate and driven about leading teams and driving operational performance, ready to innovate and make a real impact every day. We are hiring a results-driven Student Housing leader who is passionate about working alongside a dynamic, entrepreneurial-minded team!

Your Responsibilities as a Leader:

• Oversee the performance of a portfolio of 45+ multifamily student housing properties (Approximately 20K+ beds).
• Provide new and innovative approaches to continuous improvement through property management operations, which support improved efficiencies and performance.
• Ensure alignment with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead, coach, and develop a strong team of four (4) Regional Managers and communicate with important stakeholders.
• Develop and manage annual budgets for the assigned portfolio and oversee the attainment of budgeted goals.
• Coordinate work activities and services from vendors, consultants, and other contractors as needed.
• Detailed knowledge of property competition and other market conditions affecting leasing and operations.

The Skills & Experience You Possess:

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in property management, specifically Student Housing
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience managing and leading multi-site teams, including Regional Managers
• Proven success in managing and improving operational efficiency.
• Strong leadership skills; passionate and committed to the development of staff.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory up to 60%-70% of the time
