  • As the central point of contact for senior management on procurement matters, I provide comprehensive guidance and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Define and ensure the attainment of world-class Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Procurements operational metrics, such as supplier On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) performance.
  • Effectively manage the sourcing process, fostering cross-functional collaboration throughout the extended supply chain and aligning with corporate standards and tools.
  • Champion and facilitate the implementation of programs aimed at optimizing savings and credit terms to enhance material cost and cash flow performance.
  • Identify and address risks proactively, developing contingency plans to safeguard the delivery of distribution and production plans while upholding customer service levels.
  • Oversee the management and upkeep of vendors and material data integrity within ERP systems.
  • Contribute to the formulation of corporate Category Strategies and processes, incorporating supplier and product requirements.
  • Regularly communicate market price trends to the leadership team, providing valuable insights to inform business planning discussions.

Requirements


  • Over 10 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain or related roles within a Manufacturing Environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient in analytical skills, with certification such as black belt or green belt considered advantageous. Proven track record of leveraging data analysis and Business Intelligence tools to identify and seize opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively across organizational boundaries, fostering collaboration and achieving collective objectives.
  • Strong commitment to developing team members, guiding them to enhance their capabilities and excel in their roles.
  • Positive outlook and adept at cultivating value-driven relationships with suppliers.
  • Experience in devising and implementing effective Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and employing innovative strategies to address performance gaps against established metrics.
