Position Overview:

Havas Media Network is seeking a Director of Product Management to join our Product and Innovation team. This role is for a self-starter with a keen interest in the intersection of advertising technology and data. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical Product Manager with a foundation in Python and SQL and a strong desire to grow within a strategic and project-driven environment. The ideal candidate will also have a successful track record in product management, including experience developing and launching products and leading initiatives across functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall role responsibilities:

  • Translate user needs and high-level requirements into detailed user stories and use cases for stakeholders and the engineering team to implement
  • Define and prioritize projects on the product roadmap
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, set and communicate realistic timelines and deliverables
  • Lead review, demo and feedback sessions with stakeholders

Key responsibilities specific to HMG’s audience strategy, targeting and measurement platform:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of audience segmentation strategies to optimize targeted advertising campaigns.
  • Perform data queries and analysis using SQL and/or Python to generate client and topical audiences that drive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, strategy, activation, analytics, and engineering to align audience strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of audience targeting efforts, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of our audience management processes and practices.
  • Support the development of product marketing material, playbooks, product demos to drive agency wide training of new tools and technologies within the product team.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience working with SQL and Python
  • At least 2 years of experience in Product Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python
  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Google BigQuery ML
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-starting attitude with a high degree of initiative and eagerness to learn.
  • Interest in staying abreast of new technologies and their applications to the advertising industry

Platform Expertise (preferred but not mandatory):

  • Previous experience in the advertising technology or digital marketing industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with LiveRamp for data connectivity and identity resolution.
  • Experience with Google Cloud tools for scalable cloud computing solutions and data storage.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Marketing Cloud for digital marketing and web analytics.
  • Knowledge of The Trade Desk for real-time programmatic advertising campaigns.
