Job Summary
Responsible for management, operations, long range planning, marketing and development of the Rehab Department which services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language pathology.
The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor makes day-to-day operational decisions for the entirety of the group, conducts monthly rounds and departmental meetings when needed, assess the departmental/individual performance, and field customer questions and concerns. Responsible for training new hires, orientations, developing and presenting education and various reporting. Works collaboratively with all staff and exemplify the core values and mission of Shenandoah Medical Center, always exercising utmost discretion, diplomacy and tact in patient/staff interactions.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Master or Doctorate of Science degree in Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy or Bachelor of Science Degree and University Program certificate required
Experience in Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy preferred
Previous lead level or supervisory experience preferred
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations
Current Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy in the state of Iowa
Basic Life Support (BLS)

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Directs of all aspects of department operations effectively and efficiently.
Oversee the day-to-day department operations which include problem solving issues and ensuring effective processing.
Develop and document department procedures to ensure consistent and accurate processing.
Work with other departments in providing services and resources.
Monitor workflow and department processes.
Develop and maintains department policies.
Set and achieve department goals and objectives, including LEM goals.
