Director of Social Services Qualifications & Responsibilities:

Director of Social Services Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Must have LSW or CSW
- Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required
- Directs, establishes & plans the overall policies/goals for the Social Services Dept
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation
- Participates in interdisciplinary care plan meetings to ensure treatment of the social and emotional needs of the resident
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Review Advanced Directives and provide education to residents and family members as needed
- Help provide a smooth admission and discharge process for residents and family members
- Prior experience managing staff is preferred
- Ability to work independently or part of an interprofessional team
- Computer knowledge
- Other duties as assigned by Administrator
- Schedule: Full-time, 9a-5p, On-Call manager on duty rotation
- Health, dental, vision and PTO for full-time employees
