The Director of Software Engineering is responsible for managing development schedule and leading software development team for the System Innovators product lines to meet requirements for functionality, quality, delivery commitments, and cost. Provide technical and business leadership to direct managed staff. As director, you will also be responsible for employee development planning, performance planning, and evaluation. The role is considered part of the System Innovators management team reporting directly to the Executive Vice President.
Experience / Skills Required
Bachelors in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3+ years of management or development team lead experience
Must have experience with Agile / SCRUM or extreme programming processes
Must have excellent knowledge of C# .NET architecture
Experience with client server and network computing
Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server Database
Prefer experience using Microsoft’s Dev OPS
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and use of MS Office
Must be disciplined and able to support / manage change
Comfortable in fast pace environment

Planning and management of development work sprints
Create and maintain detailed product roadmap, tracking progress toward quarterly goals and providing guidance on tactical product execution. Manage scope throughout each release cycle
Understanding of monthly financial variances, forecasting of operational costs
Drive development team to consistently improve cycle time, quality and time to deployment
Accountable for completion of product / software development to meet market windows of opportunity. Ensure on-time delivery of new software within budget
Participate with SI leadership team to establish strategic plans and objectives
