The Role:


Innovative Director of Strategic Marketing, leading the charge in crafting and defining ground breaking core product initiatives within key business segments such as Cardiovascular, Fluid Management, and Ophthalmology.


General Duties and Responsibilities:

Market Research:

Conduct thorough market research and analyses for new products in key business segments to innovate products or create new skus

Industry Engagement:

Actively participate in industry conferences to enhance brand awareness

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with internal teams (R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and Marketing) to identify and quantify marketing opportunities and advance effective product strategies.

Validation:

Validate new product development concepts through market models, forecasts, and compelling business cases.

Opportunity Assessment:

Assess and assist with identification of product opportunities, collecting and analyzing Voice of Customer (VOC) to gauge product need and viability.

Stakeholder and Strategy Development:

Lead collaboration with customers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and internal stakeholders to align Strategy.


Must Haves:

Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in product marketing strategy

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics and Research preferably in medical or a related field.

Qualitative and Quantitative analytic skills: Demonstrated expertise in strategic market research and competitive landscape analysis along with market modelling, business development, and product development.

Hands-on Individual contributor: You will eventually build out a team around you, but must be comfortable being in a scale up type environment with a mid-sized, highly collaborative, high performing organization.

Communication: Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders, including product development teams, superiors, and external collaborators.

On-site: You must be able to be on-site 5 days per week (There will be flexibility on things like picking up children after school/the odd day – but because the HQ is connected with the manufacturing team and distro centre, it is a benefit to be in the office to help the organization scale).
