Document OSD on inbounds. Obtain RMAs if applicable.
Verify that the goods are intact and report any defects.
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
File and upload documents into the ERP/WMS system.
Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Maintains safe and clean work environment and workstations.
Maintaining clean shipping area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
Other Duties as assigned.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Dock Clerk requires a High School diploma or GED, as well as the ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (forklift/pallet jack) and maneuver safely in congested areas within the plant.
Because of the nature of work environment, candidates will be required to pass a physical exam to ensure vision and physical capabilities, which include lifting and moving over 50 pounds.
Ability to function effectively as a team leader/lead worker.
Knowledge of Material facility practices (i.e. receiving, shipping, warehousing, storage, etc.)
