We are currently seeking an experienced EDI Analyst to join our team and contribute to the optimization of our electronic data interchange (EDI) processes. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless communication and transactions between our business and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize strong EDI experience (minimum 2 years) to manage and troubleshoot IDoc modules effectively.
Act as a liaison between application teams, stakeholders, and the IT department to understand EDI requirements and objectives.
Drive EDI initiatives, providing recommendations on software/hardware, communication protocols, and EDI document implementation.
Support the administration of EDI IDocs and responsibilities, collaborating closely with the EDI team.
Assist in developing and implementing a Disaster Recovery Plan for EDI systems.
Monitor the system's performance 24/7, ensuring backups, patches, and maintenance are up to date.
Add new processes, maps, and trading partners to the system as required.
Work collaboratively with the business to create additional EDI transactions and perform gap analysis between EDI specifications and applications.
Set up communication channels and conduct map testing to ensure seamless integration.
Maintain flexibility and readiness to perform various tasks within the EDI realm, including mapping duties.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of strong EDI experience, preferably in the food & beverage manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in order processing SAP/SD modules and familiarity with sales orders SAP/S4/Hana.
Knowledge of customer process, customer service, and Order to Cash/SAP-S4/Hana.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Familiarity with IT systems implementation processes.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
