Electrical Design Engineer with H1B / B1

Location: South Bend, IN

Exp - 4 to 10 years

Job Type: Full-time, Direct role

VISA Type: OPT, H1B or B1

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing electrical wire harness systems for vehicles and trucks.
  • Selecting suitable components and creating detailed schematics. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing test plans. Adhering to industry standards, conducting thorough reviews.
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in electrical design and wire harness engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, CATIA Electrical).
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles, wiring diagrams & harnesses, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., SAE J1939, ISO 6722) related to automotive electrical systems.
