As an EMVCo L1 Hardware Certification Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in validating, debugging, and addressing issues related to EMVCo L1 certification tests. Your primary responsibilities will include executing tests, troubleshooting test equipment issues, and generating comprehensive test reports.
Job Responsibilities
Gather test requirements for hardware and software functionalities.
Validate test setup using reference devices and diagnose failures.
Execute EMVCo L1 certification tests, maintaining clear reports and providing regular updates on execution progress.
Investigate and debug test failures on devices under test, collaborating closely with firmware and hardware teams to identify root causes and document corrective actions.
Coordinate with external partners and third-party labs to ensure timely completion of formal certification processes.
Provide equipment training and support to RF, System, and FW teams.
Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively within a team.
Basic mentoring skills to provide support and constructive feedback.
Proficiency in EMVCo L1 certification requirements and administrative processes.
Understanding of analog and digital test cases, along with familiarity with NFC/EMVCo test equipment.
