Engagement Manager

Job Description

Reporting to and partnering with the SVP Strategy & Business Intelligence will be responsible to analyze, evaluate and make recommendations on company strategy, including how to grow and optimize the core business, which adjacent markets to pursue and how to position the company in competitive markets.

As a member of the Operational Performance leadership team, the Engagement Manager will leverage data to identify and implement high-value strategic or operational initiatives. They will be a life-long learner able to adapt and apply past experiences to new situations. The Engagement Manager will also have a high tolerance for ambiguity, with an ability to operate in a world where there isn’t complete clarity and where the environment is fluid, both internally and externally.

What You'll Do

• Manage internal strategy team members made up of Analysts and Associates
• Scope and develop analyses, workstreams, and solutions to deliver of internal strategy projects
• Independently lead internal strategy projects
• Work with multiple stakeholders within the organization to advance projects
• Own and drive high-quality research and analysis, both qualitative and quantitative
• Manage, create, design, and deliver internal strategy presentations, including the presentation for annual Board strategy meeting and components of regular board updates
• Mentor, guide, and develop team members (i.e. analysts, associates)
• Keep up with the latest trends in the Learning and Development sector
• Partner with all business teams across the organization to ensure implementation of strategy recommendations for Pluralsight
  
  

Experience You'll Bring

• Undergraduate degree from a top tier school, 8+ years of experience OR Graduate from a top tier school (e.g., MBA) and 4+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or company strategy team
• Consistent track record of high performance, dedication, and substantial achievements in past positions
• Demonstrable passion for Pluralsight’s aim and culture; with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality and bias to action
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment
• A strong interest in Learning and Development
  
  

Travel Requirements

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

Physical And Mental Requirements

Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
