Engineering Director US – Microgrids

The Company

My client is one of the most exciting companies in the renewable space. They are a multinational specialist in the engineering, installation and maintenance of low carbon, renewable and resilient power generation, and storage systems. Applications include combined heat and power (CHP) with natural gas, biogas and landfill gas, renewable natural gas solutions, CO2 recovery systems and hybrid energy solutions including microgrids and energy storage. They are in the process of joining a further six Energy based companies forming one super brand after a recent acquisition from one of the most proven PE firms which offers great prospects, investment and opportunity for the company and its staff.

Background Required

• 7 Years of experience in a Senior Engineering role
• Experience leading a team of engineers Electrical/Mechanical/Drafters
• Experience being a technical lead including team management, client management, project management
• Has experience mentoring and upskilling less experienced engineers
• Experience working within Microgrids
• Comes from an Engineering background (PE would be beneficial)
• Driving license

Package / Benefits

• Salary: $180k - $200k base
• Car allowance $1300 pcm
• 100% health insurance paid

Work Agreement

• Ideally based in Wisconsin and able to work in a Hybrid agreement with weekly presence in office but not essential
• Will look at Remote with travel Bi-Weekly
