Job Title: Entry Level Accountant (Contract to Hire)

We are seeking a detail-oriented, diligent, and organized individual as an Entry Level Accountant. This is a contract-to-hire position where the right candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the firm and eventually be absorbed into our full-time workforce. Responsibilities

• Perform basic accounting duties such as record keeping, reconciling accounts, and creating reports.
• Assist with computing taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
• Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
• Participate in preparing for audits and resolving discrepancies.
• Support senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
