Our client is a large Medical Device company looking for a Sr.EHS specialist to support an R&D site with establishing procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities/Scope of Work:
This consultant will be responsible for helping develop EHS protocols and procedures to ensure compliance for US federal and state regulations for 2 separate sites. The consultant will conduct an initial assessment to evaluate the gaps and develop a plan moving forward to be able to establish all procedures. They should have a strong hazard safety background as they will be working on PPE Procedures and Chemical management and risk exposure procedures. They will also be working on risk assessments for chemicals and waste management from the environmental aspect. This person will then be responsible for deploying the protocols and procedures and be responsible for training the other employees at the sites.
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
EHS Experience (7+ years)
Experience developing chemical management and PPE procedures
Experience in hazard safety and waste management
Creating training material and training other employees on procedures
