ERP Analyst/Developer

Sage Parts is currently accepting applications for an Analyst / Developer to join our team.

Job responsibilities:

• Serve as an ERP administrator, supporting a large Epicor Prophet 21 installation.
• Document application requirements, workflow, and other technical specifications.
• Recommend process changes to increase efficiency.
• Coordinate the planning, testing, and scheduling of Vendor Software releases, patches, add-ons, and other software integrated with the Prophet 21 system.
• Enforce and maintain database constraints to ensure the integrity of the database.
• Assist with impact analysis for proposed application and database changes.
• Data Extraction and manipulation.
• Application development for In-House tools, utilities and reporting with responsibilities including analyzing user requirements, enhancing existing applications, and creating new tools where necessary.

Required Skills:

• Understanding of the various stages of the development life cycle.
• Experience with business process re-engineering and workflow analysis.
• Capable of delivering assigned projects with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and excellent technical aptitude.
• 2-5 years combined experience in at least two of the following areas:

1. ERP system administration
2. Strong working knowledge of the T-SQL language and report creation using packages such as Crystal Reports or SSRS
3. Application development within the Microsoft ecosystem including SQL Server, Visual Studio, C#, VB.net, ASP.NET, GIT, Azure DevOps

Desirable:

• B.S. Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
• Understanding of ERP principles, practices, and design.
• Experience with SQL Server
• Some experience with IIS administration
• General knowledge of IT technologies & application of technologies to business solutions.

This candidate will be require travel to our Fountain Inn, SC office monthly if candidate does not live close for daily/weekly commute. The candidate will need to live within a reasonable distance to our Fountain Inn, SC location.
