COMPANY OVERVIEW: Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida is a leading manufacturer within the Sugar Industry dedicated to delivering the greatest value to our member-growers and employees by being an industry leader in all we do. As we continue to evolve and grow, we are undertaking a strategic project to migrate our ERP systems from Microsoft Great Dynamics Plains (GP) to Acumatica to enhance our operational efficiency.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a skilled ERP Migration Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis (12 to 18 months). The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless transition from our current ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics GP) to the cloud-based Acumatica platform. This role requires deep knowledge of both systems and experience in managing similar migrations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of migrating ERP systems from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Acumatica.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, cybersecurity, and operations, to ensure a smooth transition.
Manage data integrity and system integrations, particularly with eMaint, our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Track progress, ensure data is transferred accurately into the system, and address any issues that raise.
Provide training and support to staff to facilitate adoption of the new ERP system.
Document all migration processes and maintain comprehensive project records.
Skills And Abilities
Proven experience in ERP system migration, specifically with Microsoft GP and Acumatica platforms.
Strong understanding of ERP architecture, data structures, and cloud migration strategies.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of integrating ERP systems with other business management tools like CMMS.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field.
PMP certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on software implementations.
Demonstrated expertise in managing full lifecycle projects, including selection, implementation, and post go-live support.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk using computerized software programs.
