Executive Assistant to the CEO Americas

YouGov, the international market research and data analytics group, is looking for a highly experienced Executive Assistant (“EA”) to support the CEO, AMERICAS.

Position Responsibilities

  • Calendar and inbox management for the CEO, AMERICAS,
  • Arranging travel for the CEO, AMERICAS (and for the wider leadership team as the need arises)
  • Extensive liaison with the CEO, AMERICAS and the leadership team to support the CEO, AMERICAS’s day-to-day agenda, including board meetings, team meetings, workshops, market visits, etc.
  • Conserving the CEO, AMERICAS’s time e.g., ensuring they are prepared for meetings and events; responding to correspondence on their behalf when appropriate; collecting and analyzing information; drafting documents where applicable; maintaining task lists; and managing their calendars in a smart, efficient way.
  • Acting as the first point of contact and gatekeeper for the CEO, Americas and other key stakeholders
  • Managing ad hoc projects - dependent on the candidate’s skill-set - as the need arises e.g., assisting with events and mailouts, supporting the leadership team with travel or events etc.
  • Organizing and scheduling leadership team/internal meetings and key client meetings
  • Processing expenses for the CEO, AMERICAS and other members of the leadership team


Position Requirements

  • Approximately 3-5+ years of experience as an EA or Personal Assistant (PA) to Senior Executives
  • Solid experience in EA or PA support
  • A sense of urgency, attention to detail, the ability to anticipate the needs of in-demand executive, and experience in helping executives to prioritize competing demands.
  • A passion for helping others with a friendly, flexible, and get-it-done attitude.
  • A desire to be a part of a fast-growing global digital business.
  • Experience in booking complex international travel itineraries while keeping costs down.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and a variety of digital communication software
  • Capability to self-start, prioritize demands and seek solutions for everyday challenges while knowing when to escalate or push-back.
  • Extremely well organized, hands-on, diplomatic, results-focused, and service-minded, agile, detailed oriented, energetic and a good communicator
  • The ability to cope with ambiguity and changing priorities and structures in a fast-paced environment.
  • Due to time zones, willingness to be flexible with (remote) working hours on occasion.
  • Have an interest in learning more about YouGov and applying this knowledge to the role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.


Location: The preference for this position is to be based in the New York, NY Metro area but will also strongly consider applicants in EST/CST locations. This is a hybrid role and will work from the NYC office two days per week as needed.

For roles based in California, New York, Colorado or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000.

Compensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
