Executive Director & Head East Coast Business Development

We have partnered with a global CRDMO who provide a range of drug discovery, preclinical and pharmaceutical manufacturing services that are expanding their US, CRO commercial team.

They have established global operations spanning the USA, Europe and Asia and are seeking an established commercial leader with a strong scientific background to drive revenue growth on the east coast and lead the east coast business development team.

In addition to driving new business you will also be responsible for establishing and managing large key accounts and developing regional commercial strategies.

• Bachelor of Science degree is required - M.S. and/or Ph.D. is preferred.
• 15+ years of CRO and/or biopharma industry experience.
• 10+ years of industry sales experience.
• 5+ years of management experience - preferably of sales/BD teams.
• A strong track record of achieving/exceeding annual sales targets consistently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Self motivated, collaborative and ability to adapt quickly.
