The Facilities Assistant duties and responsibilities include providing assistance with special projects, to ensure efficient operation of the Agency. The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, which can include, but are not limited to: cleaning of interior and exterior of buildings, moving of furniture/equipment, inventory management, receiving and shipping of supplies. The Facilities Assistant may receive guidance from more than one Manager depending on task assignment.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Assisting with special projects as determined by Leadership
Ability to take directions and follow through in a timely manner
Function as a team player but also able to work independently
Able to accomplish tasks that require physical labor, ascending and descending ladders and stairs, operating hand tools
Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills
Other tasks and duties as required and assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
High school diploma or higher
Able to move objects, up to 100 lbs., in all directions
Professional and courteous disposition
Organized, meticulous, and gives attention to detail
Excellent communication and time management skills
Must pass criminal background check
